Hack Attack

About
Hack Attack is a web-based hackgame testing players in their knowledge of Web security. There are 3 levels in total + 1 bonus level and each one of them has their own security flaw caused by bad programming and misconfigurations. Players have to find these so called flaws and exploit them to gain access to the next level using only a web browser.

Prizes

• Be one of the first 3 to beat all three levels within 15 minutes and win a limited edition LinuxSIG Hacker T-Shirt and a seat for HITBSecConf2007 sponsored by Hack In The Box.
• Be one of the first 2 to beat the bonus level and win a free invite to a-by-invitation-only HITBSecConf2007 Post Conference Party where you can hang out and mingle around with all the elite hackers.
• Be either the 4th or 5th person to beat all three levels within 15 minutes and win a limited edition LinuxSIG Hacker T-Shirt and a 1GB hosting package + Domain (.com/.net/.org) for a year sponsored by Advanced Integrated Software Technologies.

Rules Of The Game

• Everyone can play
• Since this is a web-based challenge, no public exploits are needed
• No bruteforce, Dos, DDos attacks
• Do not actually hack the server itself. Those found attacking the server will be disqualified
• Players will have a total of 15 minutes to complete the game

At the end of the event, there will be an after event discussion where we will reveal the answers and show people how to hack each level.
